Anastasia Mallillin is a public health practitioner with more than a decade of experience partnering with young people and community members to advance positive community change. She is passionate about centering racial equity and the lived experiences of communities at the margins. Anastasia's previous experiences include designing community policy change with youth, serving as a policy advisor on health equity efforts, designing school-based violence prevention programs, and working with youth and caregivers in the foster care system. Anastasia currently works as the Center Director at Freedom Forward, serves on the board of the New Leaders Council Oakland, and serves as a Co-Chair of the San Francisco Tobacco Free Coalition. She was a 2016 New Leaders Council San Francisco Fellow and a 2019 Urban Habitat Boards and Commission Leadership Institute Fellow. Anastasia received her Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health from the University of Washington.
